Erica Litke

Erica Litke is a doctoral student in the education policy, leadership, and instructional practice concentration at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research focuses on secondary math instruction and issues of equity. She is particularly interested in the relationship between policies designed to address inequalities and their impact on instructional practices. While at HGSE, Erica is on the editorial board of the Harvard Educational Review. Prior to HGSE, Erica was a high school mathematics teacher at a public school in New York City, where she was a Math for America Master Teacher. She taught precalculus and AP calculus, and helped to develop a comprehensive cumulative portfolio as a graduation requirement. Erica holds an Ed.M. in administration, planning, and social policy from HGSE and a B.A., both in mathematics and English, from Oberlin College.
