Magdalene Lampert is Professor Emerita at the University of Michigan where she held the George Herbert Mead Collegiate Chair in Education. She is currently Senior Advisor to the Curriculum and Instruction team at New Visions for Public Schools in New York City. Until 2016, Magdalene Lampert was Director of Design, Development and Documentation for Learning and Teaching at BPE, where her focus was on building Instructional Guidance Systems to support teaching and teacher education in the Boston Teacher Residency and its Teaching Academy, the Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School.

The MQI Coaching Institute is a four-day training on the Mathematical Quality of Instruction (MQI) rubric and how to use it as an effective coaching tool. The curriculum provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the MQI Coaching model and hands-on experience using the MQI to guide teachers’ growth. The SDP Institute for Leadership in Analytics is a five-day data workshop at Harvard University for education analysts and system leaders who want to leverage data to inform decision making and improve student achievement. The curriculum provides a foundation or refresher course on problem analysis, technical methods, program evaluation, and data visualization and communication techniques. Hands-on activities, including computer lab sessions, demonstrate how to gain key insights around priority topics such as teacher effectiveness or college-going success.
