# Mathematical Quality of Instruction (MQI) Coaching ## Mathematical Quality of Instruction (MQI) Coaching MQI Coaching aims to improve the quality of math instruction and student learning by providing evidence-based professional learning to math teachers and instructional coaches. Since 2013, we have advanced this mission through ongoing development, research, and services to districts across the country. The MQI Coaching model, developed as part of an NSF-funded research study, can help teachers improve their mathematics instruction, guided by video-based reflection and the MQI rubric.
