DESCRIPTION:<p>The third annual SDP Beyond the Numbers Convening, <strong><em>From Classroom to Boardroom: Analytics for Strategy and Performance</em></strong>, was held in Boston, MA on May 15–17, 2013. Participants included SDP Fellows (current and alumni); SDP Fellows’ Supervisors; members of ActivateED, a collaborative effort with Education Pioneers and the Broad Center; SDP Faculty Advisors; Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation representatives; Center for Education Policy Research staff; and key leaders in K–12 education.<!--break--> <br><br>The goals of the convening were to:</p><ul><li>continue to build a national network of data strategists in the education sector;</li><li>understand the role that system-level leaders play in supporting a change in the culture of data use in education;</li><li>present updated SDP Strategic Performance Indicators and showcase partners that are successfully using diagnostic results to drive change; and</li><li>ensure opportunities for collaboration between SDP partners on topics that include: resource allocation, program evaluation, human resources processes, postsecondary success and performance management.</li></ul><p></p><div class="newsLink">[<a href="internal:/sdp/resources/convening/2013/index.php">SDP Beyond the Numbers Convening Online Resources</a>]</div>
