Mandy Shen is the Associate Director of Research at CEPR. She received her PhD in Economics and Education from Columbia University and her master’s degree in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research has been published in the *Journal of Policy Analysis and Management*, *Economics of Education Review*, and the *Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization*. Previously, she taught at Waseda University in Japan and Sun Yat-sen University in China.
