Sam Stockwell is the Director of Communications and Strategy at CEPR. Before joining CEPR, Sam served as the Associate Director of Communications and Outreach at the Annenberg Institute, where he led communications and external relations efforts, translating cutting-edge research into actionable resources and opportunities. He first joined Annenberg as a Research Project Manager on the EdResearch for Action team.

Prior to Annenberg, Sam worked as the Federal Programs Coordinator for the Providence Public School District, managing federal pandemic relief funds. He also served as the Director of Admissions &amp; Development at an independent school, where he led fundraising efforts and helped families navigate the admissions process. Sam’s career started in youth development, where he founded a film and digital media program at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester and taught video production and photography.

Sam holds a BA in Communications from Gordon College and an MA in Urban Education Policy from Brown University.
