Engaging in classroom video reflection is a powerful way to examine instructional practice and track growth in formative assessment. This process begins with recording an initial lesson to capture evidence of teaching and learning, then revisiting videotaping at the end of the course to reflect on changes in teacher practice, student engagement, and classroom culture. Teachers are guided by key questions about clarity of learning goals, student use of feedback, and collaborative learning, and they select clips to share with peers that highlight important shifts in practice and student agency.
