Modeled after medical rounds, Teacher Rounds provide a collaborative structure for teachers to observe one another’s practice, analyze evidence, and commit to changes that improve student learning. This process is built on core assumptions: teaching is strengthened when it is public, collaborative, data-driven, reflective, and focused on gradual improvement. Using classroom video and structured debrief protocols, teachers work together to identify problems of practice, test solutions, and document outcomes. By aligning with professional learning standards, Teacher Rounds promote collective responsibility, continual reflection, and ongoing instructional growth.
