The Proving Ground initiative convenes a network of school districts and states grappling with shared issues of critical importance to provide analytic support and help generating real-time evidence that can inform crucial decision making.
Strategic Data Project Fellowship
The Strategic Data Project (SDP) Fellowship finds and trains best-in-class quantitative talent and matches them with education organizations and systems, where they become full-time employees executing on key analytic projects with support from SDP’s network. SDP fellows learn to manage and generate evidence and communicate findings to key decision makers in order to benefit students.
SDP Institute for Leadership in Analytics
Strategic Data Project (SDP) Institute for Leadership in Analytics convenes data leaders for short-term, virtual courses in data-use goal setting and practical insights on key topics in education research. MQI Coaching Institute
The MQI Coaching Institute is a workshop for instructional leaders in mathematics to learn to use the Mathematical Quality of Instruction (MQI) rubric, a Common Core-aligned framework for analyzing instruction shown to improve teachers’ instructional practice.
Coaching for Math Teachers
Our online MQI Coaching for Teachers program virtually connects mathematics teachers with expert coaches for year-long, one-on-one support to improve their classroom practice.

The Visibly Better initiative provides teachers with step-by-step guides and multimedia resources for incorporating video observation into practice in order to improve instruction through deepened reflection, high-quality feedback, and a positive culture for video.
