Training & Support
We Offer Training & Support For
For Organizations
We offer support to city and county school districts, state education agencies, charter management organizations, nonprofits, and postsecondary systems and institutions looking to expand their institutional capacity in data use and analytics, educational leadership, and evidence-based decision making.
Strategic Data Project Fellowship
The Strategic Data Project (SDP) Fellowship finds and trains best-in-class quantitative talent and matches them with education organizations and systems, where they become full-time employees executing on key analytic projects with support from SDP’s network. SDP fellows learn to manage and generate evidence and communicate findings to key decision makers in order to benefit students.
SDP's Professional Learning program also convenes data leaders for short-term, virtual courses in data-use goal setting and practical insights on key topics in education research. The hands-on learning environment provides meaningful opportunities to connect with data-driven colleagues.
For Teachers and Coaches
Through the MQI Coaching and Visibly Better projects, we offer teachers and coaches resources, online courses, and live trainings to leverage the best practices we’ve uncovered during our research to support instructional growth and impactful feedback.
Coaching for Math Teachers
Our MQI Coaching program offers direct, virtual coaching to math teachers, providing one-on-one support to teachers striving to implement high quality instruction that engages all students.
The MQI Coaching Institute is a workshop for instructional leaders in mathematics to learn to use the Mathematical Quality of Instruction (MQI) rubric, a Common Core-aligned framework for analyzing instruction shown to improve teachers’ instructional practice.
