Emily Nordbeck

Emily Nordbeck is the Program Manager for the States Leading States (SLS) project at CEPR. Prior to joining CEPR, she worked in research and evaluation roles at the Utah Education Policy Center at the University of Utah and the Center for Social Development and Education at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She began her career focused on inclusive education and recreation for students with disabilities, and her recent work has included state- and district-level studies on kindergarten programming, family and community engagement, community schools, and out-of-school time. Emily received an M.S. in educational research methods with a concentration in program evaluation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, as well as a B.A. in child development from Tufts University.
