Patricia Levesque is the CEO of the Foundation for Excellence in Education (ExcelinEd), a leading education policy organization founded by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. Working in more than 30 states across the nation, ExcelinEd develops customized student-centered education policy solutions for policymakers seeking to transform education systems. Patricia is also Executive Director of ExcelinEd in Action, a national advocacy organization dedicated to turning bold, proven education reforms into reality. Patricia currently serves on the board of the Policy Innovators in Education (PIE) Network and the Florida Charter School Alliance. She has been a member of the board for the Leroy Collins Institute and Step Up for Students. In addition, Patricia was appointed to the Florida Constitutional Revision Commission (2018), the Florida Taxation & Budget Commission (2007-2008) and the Florida Government Efficiency Task Force (2007) and was a Fellow Cohort 7 of the Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship. Previously, Patricia held leadership positions in education policy, including serving for nearly a decade in the Florida Legislature and the Executive Office of the Governor. She, her husband, and their two children live in Tallahassee, Florida.
