Samantha Cullum

Samantha Cullum is a Research Manager at the Center for Education Policy Research on the States Leading States project. Prior to joining CEPR, Sam worked as a Research Assistant at the Education Policy Innovation Collaborative (EPIC) at Michigan State University evaluating the implementation of Michigan's school turnaround policy in partnership with the Michigan Department of Education. Her past work has focused on federal and state school accountability policies, school outcomes of such policies, and the data collected by them. She is receiving a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. She received an M.A. in Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Marine Biology with a minor in Math from Northeastern University.
