Collaborate to find solutions for policy and practice

The Partnering in Education Research (PIER) Summit at Harvard University bridges the gap between research and practice by matching the best minds in social sciences with education leaders committed to using evidence for decision-making. Our 2020 PIER Summit Virtual Pitch Competition this October will bring these groups together to design rigorous, relevant research projects to inform policy and practice.

How it Works

We invite faculty and education agencies to propose projects for the 2020 PIER Summit Virtual Pitch Competition. Based on proposals, we'll create teams and provide scheduling and facilitation support throughout the early fall to co-develop a project design and eventually, a proposal pitch. This will culminate in a virtual pitch competition on Friday, October 30.

The winning proposal will receive CEPR support for project launch, including funding for the research team to visit the partner site once travel restrictions are lifted.
