Go Forward with Agency

In her remarks to the Harvard Graduate School of Education Class of 2025, Dean Nonie Lesaux reminded the audience of the transformative power of proxy agency—the ability to inspire others to act by equipping them with knowledge, tools, and vision. She gave a special shoutout to the work of Faculty Director Tom Kane and our team at the Center for Education Policy Research, noting how proxy agency is fueled by breakthrough research, new solutions, and deep collaborations like those we’ve led at CEPR.
