Brian Johnson serves as a Research Analyst III for the Proving Ground project at CEPR. In this role, he performs data analytic work necessary for partner districts and organizations to test new interventions designed to help more students succeed.

Prior to joining CEPR, Brian was a graduate student at the University of Michigan studying quantitative research methods, with a focus on education. He was involved with several NSF-funded policy research projects while a student. Before graduate school, he served in AmeriCorps as a community college student advisor.

Brian holds an M.S.I. from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), an M.A. from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and a B.A. from Gettysburg College.
