Learning within the Video Study Group
Collaborative video study groups provide teachers with a structured space to reflect on practice, give and receive peer feedback, and explore strategies that support student agency. This guide introduces a collaborative inquiry model that uses the Plan–Do–Study–Act cycle to support continuous professional learning. Teachers plan lessons with clear success criteria, implement and record classroom practice, study video evidence with peers, and outline actionable next steps to integrate new learning. Protocols, continua, and structured dialogue ensure that all voices are heard and that feedback remains focused, evidence-based, and oriented toward growth.
