Spring 2024: CEPR Newsletter

April 4, 2024

It was a busy winter at CEPR, as we released the latest edition of the Education Recovery Scorecard and welcomed onboard our new executive director, Dr. Christina Grant.

As the Scorecard revealed, the COVID-19 pandemic has had lasting impacts. Students in districts across the country remain behind 2019 levels of achievement in math and reading. Chronic absenteeism continues to hamper academic recovery, while student mental health has continued to be a focus of state leaders.

If your school system is working to support students’ emotional and academic needs, re-build achievement in math and reading, or combat chronic absenteeism, read on to learn how CEPR’s projects can support your work.
